How To Enable WP.ME Shortlink on WordPress 2.9

Everyday we got something wonderful on WordPress 2.9, the latest one is enable shortlink url on Your WordPress Post Dashboard. This trick really useful for Microblogging user such as Plurk or Twitter.

To Enable this featured, all need to do just download and install latest WordPress.com Stats plugin (version 1.6 and newer) After you install this plugins, you need to put your WordPress.com API Key on this plugin, you can see the Get Shortlink menu beside your permalink editor.

Please note, this featured work perfect on WordPress 2.9, I didn’t test it below this version.
